Our Instalations
One of the main attractions that we have at Canyon de La Vieja Lodge is the wide variety of adventure tours that you can enjoy and live memorable experiences near the canyon of the Colorado River.
We offer at our hotel canopy, rafting, rappelling, rock climbing, tubing tours. We also offer tours at the national park, which include trail walks, bird watching, volcanic exploration and geothermics.
At Canyon de La Vieja Lodge we have two full service restaurant where local ingredients are combined with a world class kitchen to offer a unique gastronomic experience.
Weather
With an elevation of 120 m above sea level, the climate is dry and warm from December to April; sunny days, trade winds and starry nights, without a doubt the perfect climate.
Rainy season normally starts between the middle of May and finishes around the middle of November.
It is characterized by the lush landscapes, sunny mornings and rainy afternoons almost every day, in July and August we have a phenomenon called the summer of San Juan.
Property Location
We are located 18km from the International Liberia Airport in the province of Guanacaste; from the main Liberia intersection (traffic lights), 5km north on the Pan-American Highway and 3km east on the highway towards the Rincón de la Vieja National Park.
From this amazing area you can admire nature at its peak and discover the beautiful national parks of Guanacaste.
We are the ideal accommodation option if you are looking to explore natural parks, do not hesitate to visit us.
We are located 30 minutes from Rincón de la Vieja National Park, 45 minutes from Santa Rosa National Park and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Palo Verde National Park, which gives the opportunity to see more places.
